David and Tanya Cameron Name Cameron Auditorium

“Education has always been an important part of our lives," said Tanya Cameron, Chair of the Benefis Healthcare Foundation Board of Directors. "David and I are also very committed to local healthcare. This is why we were so pleased to be a part of this wonderful project.”

Tanya and her husband, David, played a generous role in the creation of the Cameron Auditorium. The new auditorium, nestled between the North and South Towers, is one of the most innovative hospital education facilities in the state and used for a variety of educational purposes.

Since 1975, David and Tanya have owned and operated their ranching business, Dana Ranch, established by David’s father in 1946. David also taught pre-med students and nurses at Stanford University (where he met Tanya), at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, and at Montana State University in Bozeman. Tanya is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Dana Ranch Company, Inc.

David and Tanya have supported many causes in the Great Falls community, including health research and services at McLaughlin Research Institute, Benefis Healthcare Foundation and the Skees Nursing Scholarship.

David and Tanya have two children: Julie, who lives in Chicago with her husband and their two children; and Seth, who lives in Salt Lake City. They enjoy visiting their children, traveling, hiking Glacier Park, cross-country skiing at the Izaak Walton Inn and reading.
