Mercy Flight Memorial Scholarships
To honor Mercy Flight Nurse Darcy Dengel and Mercy Flight Paramedic Paul Erickson, who both lost their lives in service on Feb. 6, 2007, the Darcy Dengel Nursing Scholarship and the Paul Erickson Paramedic Scholarship were established.
Darcy Dengel Nursing Scholarship
The Darcy Dengel Nursing Scholarship was established to assist students pursuing a BSN or master's degree in nursing in Montana. This scholarship is to be applied to books and tuition only. The amount and number awarded for this scholarship is subject to change each year. Scholarship funding is renewable, although it's not automatic. A renewable application must be completed and submitted along with grade documentation by May 15 for summer and fall renewals and October 1 for spring renewals.
Paul Erickson Paramedic Scholarship
The Paul Erickson Paramedic Scholarship was established to assist students attending a Paramedic program in Montana. This scholarship provides for books and tuition only. The amount and number awarded for this scholarship is subject to change each year. Scholarship funding is renewable, although it's not automatic. A renewable application must be completed and submitted along with grade documentation by May 15 for summer and fall renewals and October 1 for spring renewals.
