 Dr. Jim Eidson has seen a lot of different diseases in his profession as a physician, but he feels cancer stands out because it is a condition that isn’t treated in a week. Cancer took on new meaning for Dr. Eidson, his wife Gayle and their family when their grandson James was diagnosed with cancer. James was three years old at the time and the news changed their lives.
Dr. Eidson is on the Benefis Healthcare Foundation Board of Directors and the Sletten Cancer Institute capital campaign cabinet. He has been instrumental in supporting the fundraising efforts for the campaign.
